THE MISSION — The first San Francisco location of Pollo Campero (2740 Mission) opens at noon on December 10. Reps for the pan-Latin chicken chain (which began in Central America) would like you to know that the opening brings 100 new jobs into the city. [EaterWire]

SWITCHEROOS — After more than 80 years, Roosevelt Tamale Parlor is going to be called The Roosevelt (2817 24th St.). The new ownership is playing around with semi-radical additions, including baby back ribs, but doesn't plan to tinker with the menu favorites. [Grub Street]

BEERWIRE — New startup SwigMe delivers beer to residents of eastern parts of San Francisco, including Potrero Hill and Dogpatch, for a $4 fee. After operating for three weeks, owner Matt Mireles says that business is "awesome!" [Uppercasing]
