Dosa Wars

Major brand bickering now between Dosa and the newish Curry Up Now food truck/restaurant spinoff, Dosa Republic. Dosa owner Anjan Mitra sent a cease-and-desist letter to Dosa Republic after continual confusion surfaced among his customers, but Curry Up Now owner Akash Kapoor says the trademark office made a mistake: giving the rights to the name of "a generic food" to Mitra's business. Neither side wants to fight, but, unfortunately it might be lawsuit time anyway. [ISSF]
