This Saturday Kevin Cline and Josey White are opening Rock Bar (80 29th St.), down the street from their neighborhood Southern food restaurant Front Porch. Named for its notably rock-ridden exterior, the bar is their revamped version of the former International Club. The address has housed a bar for about 100 years, and Cline has had fun learning about its former guises as the Hunter's Lodge, Tiffany's and Esperanzas.

To create Rock Bar, his team brought the space back to its bones, then buffed it up. Making it way more than your average neighborhood hole-in-the-wall, are inherited bits of inventory like a rare bottle of Elvis wine, currently on display. There's also a vintage cash register from a Mission jewelry store, and you can order anything from Front Porch's menu to-go and eat it here.

Starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, bar manager and artist Brion Nuda Rosch will start pouring all six beers on tap to the public. Now do take a look at the cocktail list below, snapped as it currently sits in the menu box, which happens to be a gilded phone booth sitting outside Rock Bar's door.
