As you're probably well aware by now, Wise Sons Delicatessan is getting very close to opening its brick-and-mortar baby out on 24th in the former El Tonayense taqueria production space. Final touches were put on the interior over the weekend, and owners Evan Bloom and Leo Beckerman even took the newly outfitted kitchen for a test drive with some soft-launch feedings. Have a sneak peek at the interior here, as snapped during Sunday's festivities. As you can see, the opening menu will offer several sandwiches: corned beef, pastrami, deli burger, etc.; the beloved challah French toast, and more. It'll also be the only sit-down eatery to serve Oakland-based Beauty's Bagels in San Francisco. Stay tuned for Wise Sons precise opening day, which will probably happen for real by next week.
