SWITCHAROOS —Mission Hill Saloon (491 Potrero) has been nabbed by the Dear Mom crew. It will close on Feb. 27 for a facelift, so swing by on Feb. 26 to bid adieu to the rugged and raw. [Uptown Almanac]

NOW OPEN — Lucy (6526 Yount St., Yountville), the newly renovated and imaged restaurant in the Bardessono hotel in Yountville, is now alive and taking reservations for her figurative dance card. As sleek and modern as she is on the inside, she was actually named after the hotel's edible garden. [ISSF]

COFFEE BUZZ — I/O Ventures, the landlord of the site formerly known as The Summit and currently known as 780 Cafe, might be courting corporate tenants to take over. An anonymous tipster drops dime on the possible price of the space: "I know that they are willing to pay $30K a month, what I/O Ventures calls 'market rate rent." Mission Local also confirms this figure. [Uptown Almanac; Mission Local; EaterWire]

FRESH AND UN-EASY — Fresh and Easy wants to open a new grocery store on South Van Ness, but the San Francisco Planning Commission has put the decision on pause until March 15. There may be some community concerns that the chain's self-checkout lanes might give minors undue access to alcohol. [Mission Local]
