First Dobbs Ferry started serving its shift meal to the public for $5, and now Beast and the Hare chef-owner Ian Marks will be doing a $30 "Family Meal" on Tuesdays starting 2/21. The new option—offered in addition to the regular menu—will include an appetizer, "family pot" (the first one is a chicken tagine), wine and dessert. Marks says he got the idea during his days at Hog Island Oyster Co. when he "would make a delicious staff meal and everyone would gawk." [EaterWire]
