Aaron London Leaves Ubuntu, Plans SF Restaurant

Since Ubuntu announced its winter "sabbatical" in October, rumors have been swirling about the future of the restaurant and its star chef Aaron London. Now Scoop reveals London has left his post in Napa, with his sights set on a San Francisco restaurant. Even more unexpected: for now you'll find him behind the bar at Locanda in an effort to work every station of a restaurant in the next few months.

As far as the future of Ubuntu goes, owner Sandy Lawrence appears to be in a holding pattern before announcing any next moves.
