Alice Waters is in New York, judging Food52's annual cookbook competition The Piglet, and she's come face-to-face with an arch-enemy in the uber-popular Momofuku Milk Bar cookbook. It includes recipes like "crack pie" cookies, made with potato chips, pretzels and chocolate chips. You better believe Madame Fig-a-Lot isn't having it: "Across the board the Milk Bar recipes are too rich, too sweet, and just too intense for me." [-ENY-]
