Le Bauer's review of Franck LeClerc's new Claudine reads like a three star affair—until he gets to the service, that is. Let's start with the good: "...the food delivers. While the menu is short, everything on it is excellent; in fact, I've become obsessed with the meatball, kale and fregola soup...I've craved it daily, and enjoyed it twice in a week's time." Although one waiter's "snafus" led to "a comedy of errors" in the dining room, Bauer still says a seat here "should be one of the most coveted...in the Financial District." 2.5 stars. [Chron]
