These letters stand for Mission Bowling Club and they're about to be hung on the joint's future patio. That's co-owner Sommer Peterson's pup, Parker.

1) The Mission: Mission Bowling Club's six bowling lanes; 50-foot, sun-facing patio; bar and Mission burger-serving restaurant will open on Monday from 6 to 11 p.m. with full hours beginning the week after. The kitchen will open at noon on weekends, and at 6 p.m. Mon. through Fri. And without further ado: the menu. [EaterWire]

2) The Mission Extra: The opening of Monk's Kettle's beer restaurant spinoff Abbot's Cellar has been pushed to summer. Inside Scoop has some sexy renderings of the space too. [ISSF]

3) Um, More Mission: Bar Tartine's new sandwich shop is also delayed, until "mid-Spring," according to GrubStreet. Get ready for smorrbrod (open-faced German-style sandwiches) and lots more bread. [GrubStreet]

4) Oakland!: Mani Niall—of Michael Jackson pastry chef fame, whether he likes it or not—will be opening his Sweet Bar Bakery this summer in the former Mimosa Champagne lounge. Take a look at his Kickstarter video here, with only two days left to support the cause. [EBX]
