revival.jpgOver in Berkeley, Revival Bar + Kitchen (2102 Shattuck Avenue) has debuted a new revived menu. Chef and owner Amy Murray has fine tuned the restaurants offerings to focus on seasonal, local, and mostly organic ingredients and snout-to-tail preparations. Everything from the charcuterie to the ketchup is made in house and the chef de cuisine who is also a certified butcher, Travis McConnell, butchers all of Revival's goats and pigs. With this new menu, Murray can finally say she has manifested her "vision of restaurant that is defined by its commitment to supporting local purveyors." [Eaterwire]
