Ken Ken Ramen co-owner Robert Patterson guesstimates about 300 or 400 people shuffled through his first night market last night in the adjacent noodle factory space. "It got kinda chaotic," he says, "in the best way." The market will continue tonight and Saturday from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. or later. Patterson is happy to be conjoining all of his businesses, including Revolve Clothing and The Voyager Shop, into one happy family. "Making clothing is just like making food," says Patterson. "You find good ingredients and you put them together." He even has employees who split time working at his clothing and ramen shops.

Now, for your weekend planning purposes, SFoodie has a list of the clothing, jewelry, palm reading and manicure vendors expected to attend the night markets. All of the food vendors will be kept inside Ken Ken Ramen's actual storefront as they look into getting permits to sell food next door. Papillo Pickles (see the gallery), SanFlan's Westernized Japanese desserts, BobaGuys new packaged boba, agua frescas, packaged local honey, and Ken Ken's fresh foraged Mendocino seaweed nut mix "ocean mist" will be among the food items on offer.
