Corazon Juice Bar Squeezes Into the Mission

New, 1 comment

Not the first new juice concept that's come to light in the past month, Corazon Juicebar is a Mexican-style juice bar planning to bring organic, locally grown juices, and smoothies to 22nd and Valencia Streets. [Note: it is filling the void of graphic, pulsing heart logos left by Heart Wine Bar's sad closure.] The owners, mother and son Socorro and Cesar Ramirez will also serve Mexican shaved ice "raspados" in flavors like guava, hibiscus, tamarind, nut milk and more. Kombucha will be offered in similar flavors, in addition to hot atole, escamochas, oatmeal for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch.

K9 Design & Build has helped them revamp a former Printing supplier with Victorian-style copper panels, and a chandelier made out of Mexican Squirt bottles. Corazon is planning to open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a grand debut coming some time this Spring. Here's the early Facebook page, and the website.
