HAYES VALLEY — The second 1906 Ham & Eggs Fire Breakfast to benefit the Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association takes place on April 21 at Biergarten (24 Octavia). The first 20 patrons who sign up at the $10 breakfast will get a tour of the hood; they'll also get to check out a screening of A Trip Down Market Street, shot four days before the big quake. CHEF SHUFFLES — There's a new chef at Prospect (300 Spear) and his name is Chris L'Hommedieu, previously a veteran of Michael Mina Group. Nancy Oakes says, "It's a different style than any of us are used to," which might signal some forthcoming menu departures. [SFGate]

POP-UPS — Happy Girl Kitchen (1 Ferry Bldg.) welcomes B. Patisserie into its kiosk on April 21 for a special sale. Pickles and pastries can go together even among the non-pregnant, and yes, there will be kouign amann. [SFoodie]

MORE POP-UPS — Wildflower, a roaming vegan dining concept by New York chef Ayinde Howell, pulls up to The Window at Coffee Bar (1890 Bryant) from May 4-6. Expect "artisanal plant creations" fashioned with street food and Cinco de Mayo in mind, such as seitan shawarma, Mexican cocoa waffles, and chipotle "mac and yease." [EaterWire]
