Jonathan Kauffman, SF Weekly Food Critic, Resigns

With big changes for Patricia Unterman, Sara Deseran and Marcia Gagliardi over the past few weeks, it seems like all the cool food critics are shaking things up these days. So maybe it's not really surprising that Jonathan Kauffman dropped his post as SF Weekly's food critic? That's right, Kauffman is ending his 11 year run as a food critic to join the ranks of Tasting Table as their San Francisco editor. For the record, he deserves major props for keeping himself truly anonymous throughout his critic-ship. "I'm excited that I get to continue eating my way around San Francisco -- just in a different role," he says. And you know what this means: the big-time job of SF Weekly "Food Critic/Blogger" is now wide open. The job posting awaits.
