This morning, GrubStreet discovered that Duncan Ley, Ben Bleiman and the rest of the crew behind Tonic, Bullitt, Mayhem and Rebel have applied to take over the Four Corners restaurant on Union Street in Cow Hollow. Eater just talked with Ley, who said they'll be "doing what we do" there, creating a sort of hybrid of Mayhem and Bullitt called Lighting. A lot of the details are still coming together, but they'll be using Michael Brennan for the redesign, including a back-lit mural that plays into the lighting theme of the place. Ley says the bones of the space will stay the same, but they're adding in new fixtures, warming up the colors on the walls, and working on a "really cool lighting logo." The plan as of now is to use May to hammer out the cocktails and the menu. Ley says June 1 "doesn't sound unrealistic" as a possible opening date.
