Today is the day Nopa's three-year-old darling Mexican offshoot Nopalito becomes a two restaurant affair with the opening of its second location in the Inner Sunset. Eater got a preview look at the space last week, and now you can check out the full lunch and dinner menus.

Both include the addition of albondigas, and there is a new McFarland Springs trout dish, "Pescado Asado al Pipian Verde" on the dinner menu. It includes a sauce of pumpkin seeds, serrano chile, chard, epazote, and cilantro with Rancho Gordo Christmas lima beans and chile de arbol for $15.50. Owner Jeff Hanak says they're also offering a new Mexican spiced hot chocolate and cafe de olla (coffee roasted with spices like cinnamon and anise). An expanded menu of tortas, outdoor seating in the back patio and on the sidewalk, and a full liquor license are still on the way. Nopalito Inner Sunset is open Monday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
