MISSION — Following similar recent news of employee wage disputes at John Campbell's Irish Bakery, Big Lantern, and Blue Plate, a protest is planned at 5 p.m. today at Panchita's #3 (3115 22nd St.). Employees allege they were paid $200 per week for working full-time and that female workers were verbally harassed and paid late. [Mission Local]

CHEF SHUFFLES — Jardinière's former pastry chef Lisa Lu will bring her craft to Central Kitchen (300 20th St.). RN74's former manager Marko Sotto has also been hired to manage the restaurant, now pondering a late April opening. [ISSF]

FOOD TRUCKS — Sunrise Deli already owns four brick and mortar locations in San Francisco, so owners have decided that the fifth venture for slinging falafel and other Mediterranean staples will be on wheels. A regular route has yet to be established, but the truck-eager San Francisco State University campus is one possibility. [SFoodie]

THE SHUTTER — Neighborhood Mexican staple Pastores (3486 Mission) has closed after six years. The Cave Grill is the name of its forthcoming replacement, but there's no word yet on how Paleolithic the food might be. [Grub Street]
