Corey Lee Named "Best New Chef" by Food & Wine

Over the past year Corey Lee has fielded floods of adoration from far and wide for the super refined fare he serves at Benu. Today he adds one more accolade to the pack: the coveted title of Food & Wine's Best New Chef. Editor-in-chief Dana Cowin basically announced this yesterday, and Food & Wine's Benu love fest has been going on all year, but now it's confirmed. How will Lee celebrate? It's safe to say he'll be flying to New York for a celebratory fete, but he will probably not be spotted doing Irish car bombs. Just a hunch.
