LAWSUITS — Francis Ford Coppola, who has trademarked a tavola (Italian for "to the table") and employs the phrase at his Rustic restaurant, is not cool with Novato restaurant Tavola Italian Kitchen using it and has filed a lawsuit. For a small restaurant that's already apparently withering under normal pressures, this new legal trouble is quite frightening. [ISSF]

EXPANSIONWIRE — Deli Board (1058 Folsom) plans to operate a specialty takeout service called 1058hoagie beginning at at the end of the month. Hoagies will come in varieties such as smoked salmon or roast beef, and will likely be available on Giants game days. [Tablehopper]

FOOD TRUCKS — Off The Grid tributes the new Giants season with a special evening installment of its weekend McCoppin Street market. Giant McCoppin takes place on April 7 from 5-9 p.m. with Giants-themed specials from Senor Sisig, The Rib Whip, Sanguchon, and more, plus uber-fans the Orange and Black Attack in effect. Not a good place to rock Dodgers gear. [EaterWire]

WINE COUNTRY — VH1 Save The Music Foundation will be the beneficiary of a concert event featuring pop-leaning singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson at Raymond Vineyards in St. Helena on April 12. Live in the Vineyard tickets are $100 and available over this way. This event has previously been a private one, open only to insiders and contest winners, so this is the first twirl on the public dancefloor. [EaterWire]
