1) Marina: La Barca's ABC license transferred over to its new owners, but Tod Alsman and co. are still working out the name and interviewing "a few great chef candidates." Designer Gi Paoletti has drawn a way-enlarged bar into the preliminary design sketches, and Alsman says they've narrowed the idea to a bar-centric American tavern. The rest will depend on who they hire into the kitchen. [EaterWire]

2) FiDi: Inside Scoop says construction has begun on our San Francisco outpost of "Chinese Nobu" Hakkasan headed to One Kearny. Also, Todd Humphries’ Kitchen Door partner Richard Miyashiro will serve as Operations Director. [ISSF]

3) Union Square : In the Westfield, La Boulange du Dome will open later this spring and M.Y. China by Martin Yan (formerly Noodle Revolution) is slated to open in late summer. Teavana has already opened on Level 3 and Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop is up an running on the Concourse Level. [EaterWire]

4) Outer Richmond : According to Madame Hopper a third outpost of Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant is headed for the shuttered Morph space on Geary Blvd. [Tablehopper]

5) Oakland : EBX has more on Paul Canales' big in-the-works project in the former Art Deco Oakland Floral Depot. With Culver City's Royal/T as its model, the new concept will include an on-site wine shop, pop-up artisan merchant shops, an art gallery, a "music mezzanine", and an accessible Italian menu that's less expensive than that at Canales' alma mater, Oliveto's. [EBX]

6) San Anselmo : Tablehopper also speaks of Pizzalina, a new Neapolitan pizza-, Straus soft-serve-, wine-on-tap-serving pizzeria coming to the former Round Table Pizza at Red Hill Shopping Center. They've also got a blog. [Tablehopper]
