POP-UPS — Emily Luchetti is spearheading a Giants-themed cookie sale outside Waterbar (399 The Embarcadero) on opening day, April 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with edible player tributes. She's planned varieties such as Pablo Sandoval's Panda Prints (peanut butter and jam thumbprints), Brian Wilson's Chocolate Sea Salt ShortBEARDS, and Buster Posey's Chocolate Chunk. [EaterWire]

FINANCIAL DISTRICT — BetaKitchen launches its first pop-up lunch on April 13 at John Colins (138 Minna) with fried chicken and waffle sandwiches from Soul Groove. Future event dates are TBA but are set to include Radio Africa and Kitchen, Little Vietnam, and Belly Burgers. [EaterWire]
