"Food pods" a.k.a. food truck events are popping up like gangbusters in Oakland, due to the city's new pilot program. A brand new 12th Street Pod brings CupKates and 510 Burgers to 12th and Broadway today, and three more food pods are coming to Grand Ave., Clay St., and Snow Park in the coming weeks. All this in addition last week's growth spurt at Clay Pod and Bites off Broadway. [EBX]
