Introducing Eater's First Ever Pizza Week

Ladies and gentlemen, Eater readers of all ages, please inch a little closer to the computer screen for a special announcement. Starting right now and ending, oh, around 5 p.m. Friday, Eater will be your headquarters for all things pizza for this, our first ever Eater Pizza Week. We're going to sit down with some of the city's best pizzamakers, follow one of the most bad-ass pizza managers for a day, talk to chefs about the best slices in the city, and throw a few bonus guides in for your enjoyment.

And it doesn't end with the content. For Pizza Week, Eater has teamed up with three San Francisco pizzerias to give away 8 pies each at random, in special custom Eater pizza boxes (at right), to their delivery customers. So those who order from Patxi's on Fillmore St., Escape From New York on Harrison, and Goat Hill in Potrero, may have a nice surprise coming their way.

As a Pizza Week special, Eater also coerced several of your favorite non-pizza-serving restaurants around town to add a pizza to their menu for one week only. Stay tuned for some tempting food porn from those guys, starting with Tacolicious' special Mexican pizza later today.
