Goat Hill Pizza Inks A West Portal Deal

Goat Hill Pizza owner general manager Elena Neustadt just signed a new lease at the former West Portal Bakery location. Her plan is to open a third outpost of her sourdough crust-serving pizzeria there in August. More like the Potrero Hill (300 Connecticut St) location than the one in SoMa (171 Stillman St.), the new Goat Hill will offer take-out, delivery and a few seats for those who wish to dine at tables, but no waiters. This will continue the bout of newness in the neighborhood, started by Ryan Scott's hip sandwich-salad place Market & Rye. Goat Hill West Portal hopes to eventually expand pizza delivery service to The Sunset and Noe Valley.
