OAKLAND — After the departure of Dean Dupuis, Pican (2295 Broadway) recently named Sophina Uong its new executive chef, and now her first new menus have emerged, revealing a new menu format, and a brand new "chef's table tasting menu" option. Download the bar and cocktail menu here and the main menu here and here. [ISSF/EaterWire]

THE BRUNCH BUNCH — Solstice (2801 California) has launched a "bottomless Sunday brunch" from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. All entrees, such as huevos rancheros or baguette French toast, are $10, as are bottomless flavored mimosas. [EaterWire]

LISTICLES — This year's Bar Stars have been named, and they've been selected from somewhat unlikely spots. Look for them mixing and shaking at the Hotsy Totsy Club, Txoko, Maven, Heaven's Dog, and Two Sisters Bar and Books. [Chron]

COMING ATTRACTIONS — Atelier Crenn hosts acclaimed Charleston-based chef Jeremiah Langhorne of McCrady's for two ten-course collaboration dinners ($160) on June 19-20, part of Dominique Crenn's "dialogue" series. Langhorne recently staged for two months at Noma in Copenhagen. Email adriana@ateliercrenn for reservations. [EaterWire]
