Things are looking even further up in Hayes Valley as Range's very talented pastry chef Michelle Polzine has signed a lease at 198 Gough (at Oak). Her new 20th Century Cafe, "a pastry chef's restaurant" will offer sweet treats inspired by Budapest, Vienna and Prague, while "consulting savory chef" and Show Dogs charcutier Peter Temkin oversees Polish dogs, duck dumplings and the like.
