Burritt%20Reviewed.jpgBauerTown doesn't buy the vibe at Charlie Palmer's first San Francisco restaurant, Burritt Room + Tavern. Despite its stated commitment to "local food artisans," they serve Seattle-based Starbucks coffee, and there's nothing very compelling about the main courses. See the sea bass: "It seemed like a dish stuck in the 1990s and was about as exciting as a politician campaigning in a senior citizens home." Burritt walks off with 1.5 stars for food, and a lackluster 2 stars, overall. [Chron]
