SoMa Streat Food Park, Now Serving Beer and Wine

As of right this second, the new SoMa Streat Food Park has a beer garden. Specifically, Elixir's H. Joseph Ehrmann is overseeing the "Boothby Beer Garden." It will be "right smack in the middle" of the park this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight, serving Trumer Pils and Abita Amber for five bucks a pop, and wine at $8 a glass. (Apparently, there is going to be a traditional Chinese lion dance tonight as well.) Here are the vendors for lunch today, and you can stay on top of Facebook and Twitter to find out which eleven lovely food trucks will be posting up tonight. Ehrmann says he'll be running a similar beer and wine operation for the next few weekends too. He's hoping to 1) Raise funds for the The Boothby Center, 2) Raise awareness for SF Cocktail Week, 3) Raise your body temperature.
