REVAMPS — Perhaps never getting over the loss of Cortez, The bar and restaurant at Hotel Adagio (550 Geary) are getting some plastic surgery in order to feel prettier and will be known as the Mortimer. The whole hotel is having a touch-up, in fact, and it's all expected to be done within a month. [ISSF]

MID-MARKET —
A Temporary Offering's new bar Rio Grande (1108 Market) has stripper poles amongst its Tex-Mex-inspired design features. But the real attraction here is the Bon Vivants-curated drink menu, which includes a "secret" list of three cocktails, including a namesake made with whiskey, tequila, lemon, lime, and a salt and pepper encrusted rim. COMING ATTRACTIONS — Epic Roasthouse (369 The Embarcadero) throws its annual pinot and pigfest High on the Hog to the live soundtrack of musical chef Joey Altman and the food soundtrack of the restaurant's chef Jan Birnbaum from 1-4 p.m. on June 30. Tickets ($75) are available here. [EaterWire]

DOGPATCH — Crushpad replacement Dogpatch WineWorks (2455 Third St.) has opened a collective tasting room to offer wines by the glass and flights. The 3,000-square foot space is open to the public Thursdays and Fridays from 4-8 p.m., Saturdays from 12-7 p.m., and Sundays from 12-5 p.m. [EaterWire]
