Minimum Wage

Atlanta%20Server.jpgIn Atlanta and much of the U.S., a server earns $2.13/hour and has no health care. NRN argues "raising the...wage could hurt kitchen employees and others who don't work for tips," and a specialist adds: "You can't just absorb [higher wages]...It's difficult to say to customers, 'We need you to pay more.'" Compare to SF, where servers make $10.24 an hour, get health care, and create the toughest U.S. city for restaurant owners. Where's the middle ground? [Huff Po]
