Hog & Rocks Turns Two, Red Buffalo Expands

COMING ATTRACTIONS — Hog & Rocks (3431 19th St.) celebrates its second anniversary with a party from 2-7 p.m. on July 15. Scott Youkilis has planned a menu that includes bites like ham cones, BBQ oysters, and pork belly chili fries. He also needs more teams to participate in the "oyster shuck 'n suck competition." Admission ($40) includes 20 tasting tickets to use on food (items cost 1-3 tickets each), drink, or the raffle and are available here. [EaterWire]

EXPANSIONWIRE — Red Buffalo (2370 Shattuck) plans to bring its wings and things to Berkeley in a few weeks. It will open up in the former Creations frozen yogurt shop. [Berkeleyside]

CHEF SHUFFLES — Toast (5900 College Ave.) has hired a new executive chef, Rebecca Boice, who formerly worked at Zuni Cafe. Though she doesn't officially start until the fall, she's already been adding new items to the menu. [ISSF]

NORTH BEACH — Replacing the old Vin Club Antologia (515 Broadway), a Latin American wine bar featuring selections from Spain, Chile, and Argentina. Look for its debut on July 13. [Grub Street]
