WINE COUNTRY — Up in Geyserville, Francis Ford Coppola Winery (300 Via Archimedes) now offers group swimming lessons in time for the pool's second summer. It seems geared mainly toward locals in the 707, though, as there is a choice of eight group sessions ($70 per session) or four private lessons ($120 per session). Find more info about specific instructionals here. [EaterWire]

BEERWIRE — On July 21, Oakland's Cleophus Quealy Beer Company hosts a summer beer tasting at the Zoo Music Incubator (1035 Seventh St.). Festivities begin at noon and tickets are free, but they must be reserved in advance. Wexler's Back BBQ Truck should help soak up the suds. [EaterWire]

THE MISSION — As previously teased, the former Medjool is going to be a restaurant called Lolinda (2522 Mission), and now it might have a controversial new neighbor. On August 16, a medical marijuana dispensary called Morado Collective will seek approval from the city Planning Commission to move into the building as well. [Uptown Almanac]

FOIE BAN AFTERMATH — Activists who have called Humphry Slocombe (2790 Harrison) to ask if foie gras ice cream sandwiches are still being served there are typically told that "baby seals are next." Serving suggestion to the parlor: Perhaps it's time to actualize that mythical Feral Kitten flavor. [SFist]
