Based on recent occurances, the probability that the shuttered Ubuntu in Napa would come back hasn't looked good, and today a broker's flier comes out with all the stats on the space as it officially hits the market. The potential new lease includes a beer and wine license, 4,200 square feet of restaurant real estate with a mezzanine upstairs, and "excellent Feng Shui." No asking price is listed, but due to the failed deal with Terra's owners, one can assume it is on the high end of the spectrum. Interested parties should contact the broker.
After a "sabbatical," and a chef exodus, it's safe to say this is the end of the Ubuntu era on Main Street in Napa as we know it. Owner Sandy Lawrence could not yet be reached for comment.
