Inside The New Farina Pizza, Opening 'Any Day Now'

Last week, an Eater tipster got word that Farina Pizza would open this Wednesday, August 15th. Today, after liberal sneak peeks, and over two years in the making, it is time for the full reveal on Farina Pizza's interior—soon to be the swankiest (and spendiest) Neapolitan pizza restaurant in all the Mission's land. This good-looking Italian cat is hit with white leather mod seats at the bar, white tiling, soft green wooden slats, and snazzy salt-and-pepper shakers that look like they're straight out of Beetlejuice. It's all a stage for chef Paolo Laboa's morning pastries, first release of farinata, "authentic" pizza, and more. Notice, designer Brett Terpulek orchestrated loads of sunshine streaming in from outside, giving diners a well-lit view of the artsy ceiling. Wait for opening date updates soon. [Update: Farina's PR writes to say the official opening day is Monday, August 20th.]
