THE MISSION —PizzaHacker Jeff Krupman heads up a Scoutmob celebration of tomato season from noon to 4 p.m. on August 26 at Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem (2323 Mission). The event includes a summer flight of his pizza cooked from his spanking new coconut oil drum oven, two Bloody Marys (from a build-your-own bar) or specialty beers, bites from PizzaHacker collaborator /CSA provider Luke's Local, and take-home tomato seed packets from Graze the Roof. PLYWOOD UPDATE — Even after more than a year of work, the roastery and cafe for De La Paz Coffee (1081 Mission) still isn't quite ready, but the coffee stand in front is now open again from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The full cafe should be ready in about five months. [ISSF]
