Speakeasy Brewing Turns 15, Kink.com's Bar

BEERWIRE — Speakeasy Brewing (1195 Evans) marks 15 years in business with an onsite party with food trucks including Southern Sandwich and Kasa Indian Eatery from 2-7 p.m. on August 25. General admission is free. [SFoodie]

THE MISSION — Kink.com's forthcoming bar in the old Ace Cafe might be called the Armory Club (1799 Mission). A construction worker onsite speculated that it could be open soon, but didn't offer any concrete dates. [Uptown Almanac]

COMING ATTRACTIONS — BAYCAT (Bayview-Hunters Point Center for Arts and Tech) students who recently created a culinary mockumentary called Ultimate Food Challenge have faced a large setback when their laptops and some of their work were stolen. A benefit takes place at 5:30 on August 28 at Cigar Bar and Grill (850 Montgomery) featuring free food, happy hour specials, and a raffle; more info here. [EaterWire]

EAST BAY — Oakland's Beer Revolution (464 Third St.) is opening a vegan eatery next door in the "early fall." It's called Old Depot Public House and will serve European food. [Vegansaurus]
