THE SHUTTER — Tangerine (3499 16th St.) closed on August 26, but hopes to reopen somewhere in the Castro. It might possibly move to the old Patio Cafe (531 Castro), but that's just a rumor at this point. [Grub Street]

HAYES VALLEY —
Nosa Ria Spanish Market (500 Laguna) is softly opening on an unannounced day this week, with a grand opening in September. There will be packaged Spanish foods and a wine license is pending. [Hayeswire]

VEGETARIAN WIRE — Coi (373 Broadway) offers a new vegetarian tasting menu comprised of 12-13 dishes. Among the current offerings are coffee-infused carrots, popcorn grits, and tofu coagulated in deep ocean water. [Serious Eats]

UNION SQUARE — Grand Cafe (501 Geary) now has Green Chartreuse on tap, the first restaurant in the country to do so. There's also a cocktail on tap called Grand Old Fashioned with Pierre Ferrand cognac. Also, a reminder that Grand Cafe's Kimpton cousin Jasper's Corner Tap and Kitchen has Negronis on tap.
