Les Elements' New Bread Menu Is Fully Baked

Photo: Flickr/caribb

fo%20realx.jpgLuis Villavelazquez of Les Elements is adding Tuesday Ferry Building Marketplace appearances to his weekly schedule, but he won't be selling the pastries and sweet delights his customers have grown used to. The Tuesday menu will be 100% devoted to bread, "a mix of simple, savory and sweet," he says. The starter menu includes pretzel bread available as an epi or baguette, pumpkin seed raisin bread, Tierra Farms cornmeal ciabatta, sweet rolls and cheesy confit garlic loaf. Sizes (and prices) are on the smaller side to avoid waste. Customers will also be able to buy the same bread menu at La Victoria in the Mission on Tuesdays. Also watch for Les Elements' breads to pop up at more restaurants and food trucks around town as word spreads. Pig & Pie, Voodoo Van and Eat Curbside are already loyal customers. Now indulge, and peep the pretzel epi below.
