Harry's Bar Owner Is Bringing Eddie Rickenbacker's Back

The rumor about Harry's/Bruno's owner Rick Howard taking over Eddie Rickenbacker's (133 Second Street) is confirmed this morning by the California ABC. The vintage motorcycles hanging from the ceiling were auctioned off at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Élégance earlier this month. Now, in the same way Howard took over The Owl Tree, he's expected to revamp and reopen the bar soon. Expect one or two of the signature motorcycles of days past to be woven into a much more glitzy design, possibly including a cocktail menu listed out on a mirror behind the bar.
