THE MISSION — Half of the cocktail menu at The Hideout at Dalva (3121 16th St.) is new and includes a gin and cider concoction called Killer's Lullaby and a Pimm's Cup remix called a Fruit Cup. A party for the new libations last night also doubled as the debut of Tango and Stache, a new pop-up from Joshua Wilder Oakley, who has cooked at Michael Mina and Gary Danko. [Mission Mission]

BEERWIRE — Alexander's Steakhouse (448 Brannan) hosts an Anderson Valley Brewing Company Brewer's Dinner on August 30, beginning with a 7 p.m. reception. The five-course prix-fixe ($120) includes the first public tastes of pre-release beers and a beer-based cocktail. [EaterWire]

POP-UPS — Rice Paper Scissors continues its Saigon-style pop-ups with an a la carte Sunday brunch from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. on August 12 in the back alley behind Four Barrel (15th and Caledonia Streets). Founders Katie Kwan and Valerie Luu will be in their PJs cooking up items such as poached chicken rice porridge and Vietnamese omelette banh mi. They encourage you to don similar attire. [EaterWire]

MORE POP-UPS — Belcampo Meat Company is bringing duck sausage sandwiches on Acme buns ($9) to Blue Bottle Coffee (300 Webster) from noon to 2 p.m. on August 22. This occasional event is nicely dubbed a "Meat Up." [EaterWire]
