Epic Roasthouse Lunch Redux: Hello Explosion Burgers

Starting today, all the people with expense accounts near the Embarcadero can start having lunch outside at Epic Roasthouse again. The four-year old Kuleto mega-restaurant axed lunch in 2009, but now it's coming back with more bravado than ever. Enter chef Jan Birnbaum’s signature "Explosion Burger," which pulls a funny by tucking the cheese inside the meat patty instead of on top. Seriously chefs, what will you think of next? See the expansive outdoor canopy as installation neared completion yesterday. All should be in place in time to shield lunch service from the Bayside elements today.
