Michelin-starred Commis chef James Syhabout has signed a lease to take over the old Somerset space on College Avenue in Oakland. He's not 100% sure on the concept yet, but it will be "casual, with a full bar — something fun," and he says there could be more on the way: "I'm always looking for new projects."
