FOIE GRAS WIRE — After launching a free weekly foie giveaway in August once it became illegal to sell in California, Txoko (504 Broadway) has piqued the interest of colleagues in the restaurant industry and expanded the promotion with guest chefs contributing. The first 50 people in the door for dinner tomorrow night (Sept. 5) receive two free foie gras pinxtos (bites) from Txoko chef Ian Begg and Alexander's Steakhouse chef Marc Zimmerman. [EaterWire]
