Meaty News: Butcher's Guild Retreat, Rib Throwdown

THE ELSEWHERE — Bouchon Bakery is setting up a second outpost in Las Vegas at the Venetian, where the nearest "competition" is a neighboring Walgreen's. It should be open by Thanksgiving [Eater Vegas]

BURGERWIRE — Petitions are being filed by Change.org in hopes that In-N-Out Burger will start making veggie burgers and using grass-fed beef. A spokesman for the corporation said that these requests have been received but not yet evaluated. An animal style veggie burger does sound terrific actually. [National Restaurant News]
