Last summer, Speakeasy whispered news that they would be opening full-time tap room and retail space designed by Kelly Malone. Today the brewery reveals plans to open on February 8, and throw a grand opening party on February 9, just in time for SF Beer Week. Here now, Eater gets a sneak peek inside at the 30-seat private tasting room. Check it out: lots of nooks-and-crannies, and rustic, vintage touches. Remember there will be 10 beers on tap, one cask, 4 oz. pours and flights, some bar snacks like 4505 Meats' chicharrones, and "a real speakeasy door." Upon opening, daily tours will be offered at 4 p.m., along with a $3 happy hour every day from 3 to 5 p.m. This PDF has daily hours and a schedule of opening month events, including cheese-beer pairings, chocolate-beer parings, food truck events and much more.
