Caskhouse (formerly Crafthouse, 3853 24th St), the unassuming little neighborhood bar that drew the wrath of Tom Colicchio's lawyers (hence the name change), opened this weekend and is now serving craft beer and wine in Noe Valley. Beers are mostly Californian, while wines are mostly European (interesting twist), and the kitchen is churning out housemade potato chips and short rib sliders, with more menu items expected soon (think sausages, pretzels, and other beer-compatible bites).
