2013_1_cocktailssf.jpgAlcademics' Camper English sampled every cocktail on Lolinda's eight-item original menu, then ranked them from best to worst. Dubbing barman Lane Ford Chris Lane's drinks "food-friendly but not food-dependent," he gave a thumbs-up to the Carpenter's Hand, with brandy, Drambuie, and amontillado sherry, as well as the Devil's Backbone, with rye, islay Scotch, Averna, and Gran Classico. As for food, he's all about the charred artichoke with lemon aioli, which San Francisco mag's Josh Sens also dug. [Alcademics]
