UNION SQUARE — Legendary San Francisco twins Marian Brown and the late Vivian Brown were born on January 25, and nightlife scion Harry Denton has organized a public birthday celebration with cake tomorrow night at 6 p.m. at Sir Francis Drake Hotel (450 Powell). Marian Brown, who will be 86, is scheduled to blow out her candles at 6:30 p.m. The only proper thing to do would be to eat pizza at the twins' former haunt Uncle Vito's (700 Bush) before or after the party. VISITACION VALLEY — A rarely name-checked hood gets some culinary love for the Africa fries at V2 (167 Leland). Translation: French fries covered in fried onions, Berbere mayo, ketchup, and cheese. [SFoodie]

EXPANSIONS — A second location for Pacific Puffs is now open outside the BART station at Westfield Centre (845 Market). This puts the local cream puff purveyors within striking distance of Beard Papa in the mall's food court. [EaterWire]

COMEBACKS — Three Twins Ice Cream has been totally out of commission since last year's devastating fire damaged the shop and its neighbors, but there's finally some good news. There's no firm date yet but a reopening could be as soon as the summer. [Haighteration]
