There are few things San Franciscans love more than brunch and craft beer. So what could be more ingenious than putting the two together?

Beginning February 8 with the traditional Opening Celebration kick-off, SF Beer Week promises to keep the Bay Area sudsy and sotted with countless beer-centric events for nine glorious days. Brew enthusiasts will have their hands full deciding which events to attend -- see the full, somewhat overwhelming schedule here -- and if you want to get your buzz on early in the day, you'll have some choices to make. Read on and mark your calendars.

Saturday, February 9: Southern Pacific Brewing (620 Treat Ave) is releasing their Whiskey Barrel Blonde Ale and featuring a beer brunch menu from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Sunday, February 10: Strong beers are the name of the game at 21st Amendment (563 2nd St), as Drake's and Iron Springs breweries pair their high-proof concoctions with a special brunch menu from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. At the Public House (24 Willie Mays Plaza) from 12 noon - 3 p.m., Beerunch features a pairing menu with brews from MateVeza and others. Peninsula folks can get their beer brunch fix at Devil's Canyon Brewing Company (111 Industrial Rd #7, Belmont) from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. featuring Belle, a sparkling ale brewed with champagne yeast (yep, they'll be making mimosas with it).

Saturday, February 16: Magnolia (1398 Haight St) is brunching it up an hour earlier than normal. From 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., they're serving a beer and brunch pairing menu, and they'll be releasing their Old Thunderpussy Barleywine to kick things into gear.

Sunday, February 17: The Mission location of Rosamunde (2832 Mission St) is celebrating the final day of Beer Week with a Hair of the Dog Strong Beer Brunch from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Also from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Speakeasy is taking over the taps at The Sycamore (2140 Mission St) during brunch. And from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., Social Kitchen and Brewery (1326 9th Ave) will be pouring their strongest beers alongside their brunch offerings. [EaterWire]
